Nick gets off the 2010 coaster, gets in line for 2011.

This time last year I wrote a similar, personal post reflecting on 2009. It started off slowly, living at my grandmother's house yet newly engaged. It had some bumps along the way, getting laid off essentially, battling a new job I wasn't happy with and preparing to get married. But it all ended beautifully with the wedding and the honeymoon and getting yet another new job. How might 2010 stack up I wondered.

I said we wouldn't spend any of 2010 pregnant. We didn't. I thought the Super Bowl would be amazing. It was. I saw Disneyland in the future. That happened. I made resolutions to quit drinking soda and biting my fingernails. Epic failures. I figured the Lakers would win and Lebron would go to Miami. Easy picks.

Fast forward to 2010.

5. Jasmine and Lily are purchased

4. One year anniversary in Hawaii

3. Disneyland with the whole fam-damily

2. The backyard and master bathroom were remodeled

1. We bought a new car!


Top five 2011 goals/wants:

Runner Up - The dogs calm the f#*@ down!, we finish the backyard, Nick hits a homerun in softball proving all his offseason hard work has actually paid off, gets better, gets picked up for tournaments here and there.

5. Huge combined family trip to Canada (Katie) and Montana (Nick)

4. Katie's car gets paid off.

3. (Because of number 2) Nick and Katie finalize a decision on having children.

2. (Because of number 1) Nick lands a new career field/path

1. Nick goes to grad school
